I gave up on the WSJ a long time ago, but I agree The Comments Section now falls below even the NYT in quality. The reason is the proliferation of multiple posts by obvious trolls that make it an obnoxious, ridiculously slanted debating society rather than a place to sample the views of readers. As with Substack, the quality of the Comments Section could be improved if commenters were limited to, say, 5 posts per article, or maybe even less. The goal is to get people who live on comments sections to go somewhere else, like outside playing in traffic.

I use the app and I don’t even see an opportunity to comment.
They only allow comments on some articles. It should say "Show Comments" at the bottom of article if they allow them.
